Vancouver, BC – Honda fans and guests of Destination Auto Group’s Kingsway Honda Vancouver dealership on 12th and Kingsway will have something brand new to look forward to this winter as the group seeks to modernize its Honda dealership’s showroom and service reception facilities. When complete, the newly renovated dealership will feature an ultra-modern aesthetic, a refreshed guest lounge and service reception, increased sales offices and guest advisor stations, and new customer restrooms.

Having celebrated its 50th anniversary in Canada in 2019, Honda continues to produce an award-winning lineup of passenger vehicles and trucks, including the Honda Civic, which has been Canada’s top-selling passenger car for over 22 years. With innovation and sustainability at the forefront of its long-term vision, Honda recently announced its plans to go 100% electric and hydrogen fuel-cell by 2040 and has announced the introduction of the Green Dealer Program, which has an objective to support the environment by providing a roadmap for dealers to quantifiably reduce their energy and water consumption.
Kingsway Honda Vancouver has operated as a family-owned business in the Mount Pleasant community for over 30 years. Acquired by the Kingsway Auto Family as part of a multi-dealership deal from the Bill Docksteader group in 1988, the dealership continued to grow, largely driven by the success of the Honda Civic and the introduction of the Honda Odyssey, Honda CRV and Honda Pilot. In 2008, Kingsway Honda Vancouver relocated to its current home, doubling its service capacity to 16 bays in a brand-new 47,000 square-foot dealership facility.

An iconic building, Kingsway Honda Vancouver was a first-of-its-kind in Canada: a mixed-use residential 11-storey condo tower combined with a full-service auto dealership. Designed by Acton Ostry architects, the development has energized and rejuvenated Mount Pleasant, one of Vancouver’s most historical and culturally distinctive neighborhoods, by creating more homes for young families, more jobs, and a unique, fully-indoor automotive purchase and service experience for Honda customers. Upon its completion, the development project welcomed 96 new families and 65 employees to the neighborhood.

Several years after its relocation, Kingsway Honda Vancouver received Honda’s coveted Quality Dealer Award in 2011, and more recently, has been recognized by Honda Canada through its Driving Excellence Program (including a top-tier placement) for achieving the highest standards of customer service and customer experience. Kingsway Honda Vancouver is also one of Metro Vancouver’s first dealers to adopt the Honda Green Dealer program.
